BLACK BELT GRADING DOCUMENTATION

PROCEDURES REQUESTING A GRADING

• To request a grading one must:

  1. Complete a presentation letter ...
  2. Complete a CKA resume with a recent picture (Template to be found lower after this texte)
  3. Provide a copy of ALL your grading certificate
  4. Pay the requested amount (100$ non-refundable cheque to the Canadian Karate Association) to open your file


• Then, your file will be investigated. If documentations’ approved:

5. You will be formally invited (CKA written letter) to attend a formal CKA technical evaluation clinic. You must attend 3 formal CKA Technical Clinics not longer than 2 years prior to the grading


• After observation, evaluation, and acceptation from the Grading Board

6. A formal CKA invitation letter will be sent inviting you for a grading evaluation. All requirements will be specified in the letter including: cost, location of the grading, date and time, plus all other type of formalities.
